Back home in Cali, these snacks were more than just food they were part of everyday life: street corners, family moments, hot afternoons, and sweet memories. I was a single mother selling cholados, working hard with my hands and my heart to move forward.
Life led me to start over in the United States. Leaving my country was not easy, but I carried with me my roots, my culture, and the dream of building something meaningful. From that journey, MECATO Snacks was created—to bring that same feeling of home, nostalgia, and joy to others.
